Chris is an award-winning director, producer and writer with over 20 years of experience in film and television. He started his career as a WGA writer doing work for Sony Pictures, Parkwood Pictures and Original Films, having several screenplays optioned by Sony during that period. Spending time as an ad agency creative director, Chris began directing commercials for such notable brands as Comcast, Black and Decker, Under Armour, STX, Sylvan Learning and others. His work on a PSA for the One Love Foundation won an Emmy, and his long form piece ‘Escalation’ is the focus of their workshop experienced by tens of thousands of teens to this day. His unique style fuses authentic storytelling and creative strategy with a keen ability to make people comfortable in front of the lens. Chris is also an avid cyclist.
Hunter has wide-ranging experience of over 20 years in film, television, and commercial production as a Producer, Director and First Assistant Director. Having worked for every major studio and network throughout his career, Hunter excels in producing, directing, scheduling, budgeting and managing a project from inception to completion. He is an active member of the Director’s Guild of America since 1999, and has worked extensively in Los Angeles, throughout the South and the Mid-Atlantic. Hunter grew up in Richmond, Virginia and received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in English Literature from University of Virginia in 1995. An active musician and music fan, he has written over 100 songs, produced multiple albums, and been to hundreds of concerts and festivals.
